Playing in Minor League Baseball since 1960 as the farm club for various teams around the country, the Tacoma Rainiers finally became affiliated with the local major league club, the Seattle Mariners in 1995. The Rainiers battle in the Pacific Coast League with their most recent championship title coming in 2010.
